Every time I boot I get "Host Process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed"
Hi, I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 and for quite some time now I have been getting "Host Process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed" on every single boot without fail. It doesn't really cause any problems but is just annoying having an error message to greet you everytime you start windows. I have gone into the "Problem Reports" and the one which is causing these errors is "DNS Client". I have followed all the recommendations in this post http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/itprovistanetworking/thread/5a3244b8-7da7-405a-b4eb-4bb169cc38fa to no help and was hoping someone could offer some suggestions. I still get this in a clean boot with everything but microsoft services disabled. Tanks.

please download this reg file from my SkyDrive: http://cid-128fc518635be2dc.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/MS%20Foren/Registry/LocalDumps.reg and make a double click on the file to import it. When an application crashes, Windows Error Reporting Service [1] creates a dmp file under C:\Localdumps. Please upload the dump (zip it first) to your public Skydrive [2] folder and post the link here. I take a look at the dump with the Debugger, maybe I can see the cause. Sorry for the delayed reply. But it seems after following the suggestions in the thread I linked above did in fact works (just took a few restarts). I appreciate your offer for help though!
